A four-person finance-IT pair joined Control Matrix Studio ahead of an ERP API cutover. Their privilege dump showed a single CI service account able to post journals and rotate vendor bank details.

Over six weeks they split the account, added an approval webhook owned by treasury (not engineering), and built an evidence pack sampling seven days of webhook deliveries. External auditors later requested the pack by name. Limitation they still own: overnight break-glass remains a shared group pending a hardware-key rollout.
